What’s included in a service

  • Cleaning or replacing filters
  • Cleaning the indoor and outdoor coils
  • Checking refrigerant levels and looking for signs of leaks
  • Inspecting electrical components and connections
  • Checking the condensate drain and airflow
  • Testing system performance in cooling and heating
  • A short report on the condition of your system, plus any advice

We’ll let you know if we spot anything that needs attention. Nothing is done without your agreement.

How often?

  • Homes: once a year is right for most domestic systems.
  • Businesses: commercial systems usually need servicing every six months, depending on how hard they work. See commercial air conditioning for planned maintenance contracts.

The Comfort Club

The Comfort Club is our service and maintenance plan for home air conditioning. Instead of remembering to book, you pay monthly, yearly or five years upfront, and we look after the rest.

What members get:

  • One annual service a year, including a full system health check, arranged by us
  • Filter clean or replacement as part of that service
  • 15% off any repair work we carry out
  • Priority booking: members go ahead of non-members in our diary (we don’t promise a specific response time)
  • Help with manufacturer warranty claims: we deal with the manufacturer and provide the servicing records they need

What it isn’t: the Comfort Club is not insurance or breakdown cover. It doesn’t pay for repairs or parts. Repairs are quoted separately, with your member discount applied.

Prices are set by the number of indoor units at your property, with each extra unit costing less than the one before. Yearly membership gives you two months free, and paying five years upfront gives you a full year free.

Common questions

Will skipping a service affect the warranty?

It can. Our up to 5 years’ parts warranty depends on the system having an annual service, so keeping to a yearly visit (or joining the Comfort Club) keeps you covered.

Do you service systems you didn’t install?

Yes. We service most makes of domestic and commercial air conditioning.

How long does a service take?

A standard service visit takes around 1 to 1.5 hours.

What if you find a fault?

We’ll explain what we’ve found and what it would cost to fix, and only go ahead with your agreement. See repairs.
