- Victorian and Edwardian terraces around California, St Clement’s and the streets near Christchurch Park. Rear gardens are often narrow, so we look closely at where the outdoor unit can sit without bothering neighbours, and at pipe routes through solid brick walls.

- Newer estates at Ravenswood, Pinewood, Grange Farm and Kesgrave. Modern, well-insulated homes like these are often quick installs and can usually be priced from a free virtual survey.
- Conservation areas. Parts of central Ipswich, including around Christchurch Park and the historic core, are conservation areas with listed buildings. We’ll advise on whether consent from Ipswich Borough Council is likely to be needed; you or your agent make any application, not us.
